It is monday morning here in Austria, the weather sucks - it is cold and raining. I got up early in the morning to drive my mum to work - so that I can have her car for the whole day to drive to training, to university and to a store I have to visit for my work. I just got new study-material for university...and that stuff is high piled in front of me. Sounds like a great start for a fabulous week.
My weekend has been quite unorthodox this time. On thursday I went to some job applications (to earn more money for alcohol besides studying
So...what was the journal about...mhhh...yeah I tried to sum up my past days a bit and want to tell you something about a thing called "Monday Mornin' Tape"
If you have read "High Fidelity" by Nick Hornby (or have seen the movie) you probably already know what this thing is about.
If NOT...buy the book, read it or buy the movie and watch it! hahaha....BUT I want you to know it NOW! The monday mornin' tape is a mixtape of several songs you play on Monday Mornings (because they suck most of the time -> weekend is over, loads of stuff to do for the week and no end in sight!) Monday Morning Tapes have to contain music that motivates you and makes you feel good.
So today I have been listening to these few songs, which make me feel ready for the "big" things I have to bear this week
- Daft Punk "Harder Better Faster Stronger (Alive 2007)" ([link])
- CCR "Fortunate Son" ([link])
- Bloc Party "Helicopter Remix (Allen Breakneck)" ([link])
- The Strokes "Someday" ([link])
- Falco "Junge Römer" ([link])
Would be cool to see YOUR Monday Mornin' Tapes
Concerning Art- I have been feeling quite bad about my art...when I check out my gallery, I see so many things I could have done better on each drawing...so that means I have to remake some of the art, or recreate it in another way.
Have a great week!

Up on the mountain, as the blizzards closed in, there was a red glow in the snow. It was there all winter, and when the spring gales blew, the rubies glittered in the sunshine.
No one remembers the singer. The song remains.

-Soldiers, what do we pursue?!
-World Domination sir!
-In the name of what do we fight for?
-In the name of BADASSNESS, sir!
