My small tribute to the best TV show on the best TV show ever: The Itchy & Scratchy Show on The Simpsons.

Progress & Personal blabla:
I have drawn Itchy several times on paper recently while watching the Simpsons. Hours later, while doing some new years' cleaning on my HD, I discovered an old scan of a drawing of him that I had done years ago ([link]). I suddenly had the urge to fully vectorize the drawing. All done in Inkscape! While colouring, I let myself drift away, because...

...the first days of 2012 have been crazy/weird/fucked up and until two days ago I was heading for a another fall w/ a person I once really cared about. In these days you ask yourself: "Where Is My Mind?!" "What the hell I am doing here?" and then there is the break. A break that can be painful, but also very liberating. Chuck Palahniuk, wrote in Fight Club "...and maybe, we have to break everything to make something better out of ourselves." The moment you hit rock bottom at something, is the moment you start to enjoy/appreciate the smaller things in your life again & then you realize "It's times like these you learn to live again".

Sehr cool! Ich weiß wovon du sprichst, und es war meiner Meinung nach sehr gut, dass du dich hast treiben lassen. Dadurch ist das Bild wundervoll psychedelisch geworden.
